Abstract

|
Pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS) is benign proliferative disorder of the synovium and occurs most commonly in the knee joint. We report a case of patient who diagnosed as localized pigmented villonodular synovitis of the knee with intra- and extra-articular involvement simultaneously. We resected the lesionsby arthroscopic excision and open excision, respectively.
